HRH Countess of Wessex visits Pryors Bank

On Wednesday 12 November Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex visited Pryors Bank Café.

Her Royal Highness is the Patron of the Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation, which runs Pryors Bank Café as a self-help initiative for former homeless ex-Servicemen by getting them back into a working environment.

During the visit Her Royal Highness met the café's first apprentices, Johnn Kristian and David Clark, who are both nearing the end of their apprenticeship. Until January of this year Johnn was homeless and out of work; he now hopes to one day become a sous chef, having shown a natural aptitude in the kitchen. David is in his fifth month as a Pryors Bank Café Apprentice, and continues to excel and is looking forward to graduating: "my apprenticeship has given me the opportunity to plan and prepare for a new future and I've thoroughly enjoyed my time so far."

Her Royal Highness also took the opportunity to meet a number of the Café's supporters, including representatives from All Saints Fulham.
